WGMW chairman John Kendall has been selected as a judge and industry Friend of the Group Denis Chick will sit alongside him and five other judges, from the world of PR, print and photographic media.
John is currently Europe Editor of SAE International and a freelance contributor to a number of magazines including Van Fleet World, Fleet World, The Van Expert and the Road Transport Media Group. He is a former Guild of Motoring Writers Chair and is currently Chair of the Western Group of Motoring Writers.
Denis’s career spans over 50 years in the motor industry, and includes stints holding senior PR positions at both Rover Group and GM’s UK operations. He retired from the role of Vauxhall Communications Director in 2018. In 2017 he was honoured by Newspress, picking up the Lifetime Achievement Award.
