C’mon Wales!
The Western Group of Motoring Writers was represented by chairman Robin Roberts when the Welsh Squad had its send off dinner for the Euro 2016 match series.
Thanks to our friend at Vauxhall, Denis Chick, it was made possible when they enjoyed a charity fund-raising evening at The Vale Hotel, Miskin, their base for training when in Wales.
“It was an unforgettable evening,” said the chairman. “The group is very grateful to Denis for making it possible and allowing me to be part of such a memorable event, which I think inspired them towards their remarkable performance in France.”
What’s more, Gareth Bale actually got to sit next to our chairman but still managed to play well afterwards despite the meeting.
