The funeral of long-time Western Group supporter Howard Strawford will take place next Tuesday 12 March in St Andrews Church, Castle Combe.

Having been overwhelmed by the cards, messages and letters from friends, family and circuit supporters, the church may not accommodate all those expected to attend so the following arrangements have been made to allow as many as possible to pay their respects.

Due to parking restrictions in the village please park in the paddock area of the circuit – enter via the Competitors gate.  There will be a coach shuttle to take you to and from the village.

10.45 Arrival at the circuit – tea & coffee in Tavern

11.15 Coach shuttle starts

12 Noon Service to celebrate the life of Howard at the St Andrews Church in Castle Combe village

13.00 Coaches will return friends back to the circuit

A tribute to Howard will be held at the opening race meeting of the 2013 season on Monday 1 April 2013 – “Howard’s Day” to allow those unable to attend on Tuesday to pay their respects.

Donations in memory of Howard will be given to:  Motor Sport Safety Fund and Castle Combe Racing Club Trust.
