Jeremy Townsend appointed as Director of Communications for Groupe PSA in the UK as Andrew Didlick retires from Groupe PSA.

After 26 Years’ service with Groupe PSA Andrew Didlick (right) will retire at the end of December 2018 from his role as Director, Communications, Events and Brand Partnerships.

Andrew Didlick has elected to retire from Groupe PSA after 26 years in the business at the end of December 2018.

Andrew joined the Peugeot Talbot Motor Company from Jaguar Cars in 1992 as Head of Advertising. He went on to be General Manager of Aftermarket Parts Company Motaquip in 1997 and then appointed Director of Public Relations for Peugeot in 2000. He became Director of Communications, Events and Brand Partnerships for Peugeot, Citroën and DS Automobiles in 2015.

Andrew said, “I have had the most fantastic 26 years with PSA. It has been a terrific privilege and pleasure.

“I leave the Groupe with very fond memories and wish to thank all my colleagues and the UK media for being part of what has been for me a great adventure and the biggest part of my 40-year working life. I wish Jeremy every success in his new role”

Director General, of Peugeot, Citroën and DS Automobiles in the UK, Stephane Le Guevel added, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Andrew sincerely for his significant contribution to the Group during nearly three decades. I hope that he has a fantastic retirement and I extend a very warm welcome to Jeremy as he adds Peugeot, Citroen and DS to his current role in Vauxhall Motors”

Jeremy Townsend (above)  said, “I am delighted to take on this role in Groupe PSA leading the excellent UK Communications teams for Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroën and DS Automobiles. I wish Andrew the very best for his retirement taking some well-deserved time to enjoy himself with his family and friends.”
